How do I merge PDFs into one file?
Pick all the PDFs in step 1. Keep Merge picked in step 2. Use the up and down buttons to change the order, then press Merge PDFs. Your joined PDF downloads in step 3.
How do I split a PDF or take out pages?
Add one PDF, pick Split, and type the pages you want, like 1-3, 5. Leave the box empty to get every page as its own file.
How do I make a PDF smaller to email?
Add one PDF and pick Shrink. We clean out parts the file does not need. If it can't get smaller, we tell you and you keep your file.
How do I add a watermark or page numbers to a PDF?
Add one PDF and pick Watermark in step 2. Type your words, like DRAFT. Pick how dark and where it goes. Tick the box if you also want page numbers. Watermark is always free and does not use your free task.
Do you see my file?
No. Your file is opened and changed inside this browser tab. We only get a count of tasks, so we can count your free tasks.
Why is it so low-cost?
We don't run big servers for your files, because your own computer does the work. So we can charge less: free for 1 task a month, then $7 a month.
What can't it do?
It can't open PDFs with a password. Shrink works best on PDFs made by apps. It won't make scans or photos much smaller.
