Questions

Is it free?

Seeing your rows is free. Downloads are $9 for 10 statements, or $19 a month.

How does the balance check work?

If your statement shows a balance on each line, we take the start balance, add the money in, and take away the money out. That should equal the last balance on your statement. If it doesn't, we warn you above the Download button. If your statement has no balance on each line, we can't check it, and we tell you so. The check covers the whole statement, not each page.

Which banks work?

Most banks that give you a PDF with real text in it. We look for a Date column and an Amount, Debit, or Credit column. Scans work too. We read them in your browser with OCR and show a balance check, so you can see if a number was read wrong.

Does it read statements in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean?

Not yet. A PDF with Chinese, Japanese, or Korean text can't be read right now, so you would see a "couldn't find any words" message. Statements in English work best.

Will QuickBooks take the file?

The QBO file is made the way QuickBooks expects. Still, it depends on your QuickBooks and the account you pick, so try one month first.

What happens to my PDF?

It never leaves your device. We read it right here in your browser, even a scan. Only the words we find go to us, to put them in rows, and we never keep them or use them to train AI. Your rows are locked in this browser for 24 hours so you can download after you pay.

Can I switch between Bookkeeper and Firm?

Yes. Press Manage or cancel, then change your plan. Moving up to Firm costs only the difference for the rest of this month. Moving down to Bookkeeper starts next month.

Do I need an account?

No. Payment is handled by Stripe, a payment company.
