Is the check free?
Yes. You get 1 free check a month in this browser. The fixed file is $6 for that book, or $19 for five books.
What does it fix?
Common, simple problems: a wrong first file inside the EPUB, files listed but missing, file names with spaces, and missing book details. Some problems need a person to fix, and we tell you which ones are left.
Will Kindle or Apple take my book?
We can't promise that. Stores run EPUBCheck plus their own rules. A clean report is a very good sign, but not a promise.
What happens to my file?
Your file never leaves your device. The check and the fix run in your browser. A copy stays in this browser for up to 24 hours so you can download the fix after you pay. Stripe, the payment company, only gets a fingerprint of the file, not the book.
Do I need an account?

Privacy
Your file never leaves your device. The check, the fix and the second check all run in your browser. Your book is never uploaded to us.
To count your free check, this page tells our server that a check finished. It sends no part of the book. A copy of the book stays on your own device, in this browser, for up to 24 hours so you can get the fixed book after you pay. It is deleted after the download.
When you pay, Stripe, our payment company, gets only a fingerprint of the file (a SHA-256 hash) so the payment matches this book. When you download, the page sends that fingerprint to our server, which asks Stripe if you paid. Then your browser builds the fixed book.
